@Safelycrazy Gewehr. I'm sorry. I realized from remembering using the Gewehr-43 at a classic rifle field my mistake. (Also, the Gewehr is the semi-rifle version. I've heard Machinenpistole and Machinengun come out of two H&K representatives mouths before)

And if you go look at Combat Arms's G-36 'M' variant, it's the short Kurtz one.

No MG-36 I know of is a Kurz one. They're all E versions

@laffyta2 Hey dude, before you go criticizing that guy learn your german... MachinenGEWER, not machinenGUN. and the G36c/k are the kurtz (short) rifles, if anything the MG36 is longer not shorter.

The 'MG-36' in Commy Arms is a 'Kurtz' version of the 'Machinengun Modele 36'

@Wintercomet100 only way to tell is to look at the barrel. which we cant do bc its a video. the MG36 had a heavy barrel. HK made some for testing and to offer to the Bundeswehr. but they said a regular G36 with the bipod and Beta-C mag worked just fine. so HK stopped production and only about 200 survive today
