week 1 - help me learn to flower stick

Im learning to flower stick... reply with a video and help me get past my current sticking points if you've got sticking skillz.

ok actually to make the last trick easier you can tilt the flowerstick on a 45 degree angle so the top half of the circle is tword you. GL

So by 45 degrees to the body your saying instead of your arm (shoulder, elbow, wrist) being 90 degrees like an L with you hand horizontal... for it to be 45d like a V pointing diagonally up into the air?

Index fingers should be pointed outward, hands choked up a bit on the hand sticks... slow down.... your throw is more important than the catch. take your time learning the tick tock, a good foundation on the basics makes a smooth performance. The tick tock should sway like a windshield wiper blade... the stick should be flat at the highest point of the sway. once you get the tick tock smooth and perfect... move on to the helicopter.

I don't know if you are still doing videos or looking for advice but I just posted three flower stick tutorials you could check out. I try to break it all down and go into as much detail as necessary. you are doing good for a week in this video. you were already getting the helicopter. you're right about there not being much instruction. that's why i decided to make some tutorials.

Flower sticking is like learning to talk. so shut the f*** up u suck at both

For the last trick, it might help if u push it with the other one first to get it started, then when you have it going on one, you don't want it always touching the little stick, disconect the contact just for a second to keep it under control, otherwise itll go flying

the last trick just takes practice.

-1 spin leads to 2, 2 into 3, and so on but it looks like your well on your way.
