  • Hi @MrSketchtastic. Photoshop Elements is similar to Photoshop and has many of the same functions. Photoshop is the high end professional version and Photoshop Elements is the consumer version. Is it "as good?" That depends on what you want to do with it. It's as good for many things and not as good for others. With a price difference of around $500, you can imagine that Photoshop has more to offer, but for many people, Photoshop Elements does everything they need to do.

  • is this as good as regular photoshop or it's like the same software

  • @Brute55Valentine Yes—there is a Remove Red Eye tool in the Tool Bar in the Edit part of the program. It's the tool with an eye on it.Click and drag over the offending pupil. A shortcut is to press Ctrl R (Mac: Cmd R) when a photo is open to have the program detect and remove red eye. In Windows, you can set the program to automatically detect and clear red eye when you Import photos into the Organizer, or you can select a thumbnail and press Ctrl R.

  • can you remove red eyes?

  • Hi pie4all,

The two programs are two versions of the same software. Adobe Photoshop is the professional version that retails for $699. Photoshop Elements is the consumer version that retails for $97. They contain many of the same features, and both can be used quite well for scrapbooking or photo editing, but the Photoshop version has many more advanced features as well.

  • is adobe photoshop and adobe photoshop elements the same thing?

  • Thanks! PSE8 really is a fantastic program!

  • This is a very good tutorial and and awsome program.

  • Well done video! Thanks much, Linda.
