I played this piece when I was 13 and it's just absolutely wonderful. I still love this piece and love to take it out and play it. Oistrakh did a wonderful job here and goodness, this concerto has got to be one of my all time favorites. It's just absolutely magnificent.

yes indeed if you notice on the sheet music , second page at 2nd movement it says to be played with sordina (or sthg similar to that word)

@tjallobascon half of the second movt is played with a mute, starting from the 22-note chromatics and to the end of the piece. i know because i played it
