MISC Club Champs 2011 - Long Program + Part of Short

This week I competed at my club's championships! I had the best time. This was the first time my mum had ever seen me compete so I was a little nervous, but I had fun. The short was shaky, and I double footed the double flip and stepped out of the combination.

The long, on the other hand, was my best competitive skate yet! I seriously had so much fun. My boyfriend surprised me by showing up right before I got on the ice, and it made me so happy that I went out and skated really well! My mum filmed it but, bless her, she doesn't know how to zoom in. :P So unfortunately some of the jumps are a little difficult to see, but they were all clean! I couldn't stop smiling all the way through that program. I'm also really pleased with the spins, because they're usually so slow and shaky in competition.

Unfortunately due to camera errors, I only have the very last part of my short program to show you, so I just put it on the end of this video.

I placed 4th, but before you congratulate me, there were only 4 in our group. :P Regardless, I'm very pleased with my skate, particularly the long program. The other 3 girls skated absolutely beautifully. :)

Amazing skate well done :D Even in your short you had a really strong back camel, but in your long they were better than I've seen in your other comp videos, on both feet - so fast, amazing! Well done I hope you're really proud, you should be! xx

It was a hard to see you, because you look sooooo tiny, like 1 cm tall in the video, especially when you far away. Even so, you looked great! =] Your spins are awesome.
