What a wonderful companion! Darling obviously appreciates your love and attention.

Adorable bird but it doesn't look like a Starling. Isn't it a Magpie?

Hi i live in the orange county area and we lost our starling bird, cuong. it's been years and I saw this video today and was hoping this is him because we want to know that he is alive. we always thought a dog or cat got him. my mom brought him over from vietnam and he had been a family pet for years. we are just very worried about him. i hope this is cuong.

Starlings are very special friends!
Mine talks, and makes up songs from other sounds and whistles he hears. Mine appreciates a larger house and likes to bathe in a blue bowl too!

Could you please tell me what kind of starling your bird is. Is it a baby in this video? Thanks

This is a starling bird; train him with worms reward; It's easier to train a bird when he's still young...you must touch/ play with him a lot so he will think that you are his parent.

Beautiful! But his cage is so small--Does he ever get to fly?

I bought him a huge cage last time but he stayed in the corner and plucking his own feathers. We experimented with a lot of cages so far this is the one that he is Ok with.
He flies low around people but flies high when he sees a dog or a cat (and stays up there until the next day).
He is not very friendly with strangers. He gets noisy and pokes them repeatedly if he gets bothered.
The children makes him nervous so I rather he stays in his home when the children are around.
