This was a day of winter steelhead fly fishing on a north Oregon coast stream. The drive over was insane with whiteout snow conditions, but when we arrived the river was snow free, and looked great. We had a day of 4 fish hooked, and three landed. Two are the landed fish were nice, and one was a small one salt dink; so we did not take any pics of that fish. The first fish hooked was only on long enough to see a chrome flash whirl on the end of the line, and then it was off. All and all, a great day!
