As broadcast on 29 February 1960, for ATV's Saturday Spectacular: The Guy Mitchell Show.

This track was originally recorded for Pet's then-recent 'In Hollywood' LP, recorded, as you might have guessed, in Hollywood.

  • i don't think this was the last year of the 1950s. early 60s music and fashion was not much different to the late 50s.

  • I have a LP from 1959 or 1958 by Petula¡, nice¡

  • While Pet sings this beautifully, it is an incredibly reserved version of Kay Thompson's exuberant signature song. Pity she cut the lyric, "I love a violin, I get hilarious, 'cause my middle name is Stradivarius."

  • Awesome dress, and her voice is amazing! Our Pet...cheers Luv!!

  • Yes, very chic and elegant! She has such a great voice. What a performer too

  • I agree - she looks incredibly sexy and chic. Great performance and an even better album.

  • Looks different to how she was in the 60s yes but this was 1960-the last year of the 50s.

Its typical of British TV at the time-she wears this great dress and you hardly even see it

  • I'd forgotten about this song. Nice version. Don't know if it's the hair or what it is, but she looks different in these clips. Anyone else agree?
