15V 2A power supply, connected to an ampmeter.

The Us and Is values are the setvalues, U and I are the actual values. When the powersupply acts as a voltage source the display is green, but when it becomes a current source the display becomes blue.

The electronics behind the display are an ATmega8 with some voltage dividers, but no opamps. The voltage over the shunt is measured directly by the ADC, which has an external reference of 1.2V.

The ATmega8 doesn't control any of the regulation in the power supply, supply and display are two seperate modules which work independent. The display electronics only measures the voltage at several points in the power supply.
However, display and powersupply are connected to the same transformer.
