A quick demonstration of a waterproof switch. It consists of a reed switch controlled MOSFET, a current sensor, and a safety fuse. The electronics can be located safely inside a waterproof box, while an external magnet can be used to trigger the reed switch.

  • oh, you should post a update on it i haven't seen it in a while.

  • Well, its nothing special. Literally just a reed switch connected to a MOSFET. The current sensor and fuse are simple things, too.

At some point I'll post a tutorial on it, probably after I move back to Bangkok and have more free time.

  • Do you have schematics that you would be willing to publish so we could make something like it, I haven't been around on the forum much lately so mind me if you already have done so!

  • Nope not selling it. I just made a few for my robot fish project.

  • most likely it will be on SOR (Society of robots) main site might be in the update, that is if he is selling it

  • Do you have a link to where we can pick up one of these? or did you make it?
