i think its a gear box lol not just disagreeing with you its just wherei work we make gear boxes for transit vans and the simulation in that video looks a lot like one of our castings , not the same obviously lol but all the signs of a gearbox are on it

The video was supplied by a customer of C G Tech, but the component in question looks like a rear axle differential casting being machine qualified. Hope this answers your question.
