Treme and especially The Wire pure quality, if only all tv was as good.
Season 4 down in the hole was the best version ...no doubt.
If you want to watch a great english series try GBH brilliant.tv as well.

I miss New Orleans. A week there and I am planning on moving there. Leaving broke my heart.

The Tremé neighborhood is barely visible in the accompanying photos; also the song is not very realistic. People didn't stoop-sit in Tremé -- that was for French Quarter Africans and Creole (who unfortunately were all gentrified out of the 'Quarter a generation ago).

I don't understand why anyone would want to listen to any version of "Way Down in the Hole" after hearing the Tom Waits original.

This is one awesome theme song!!! I can listen all night long, the show is just as exciting and exhilirating,for those of you that may have seen this series Please watch the show it is awesome....

How to people think that the season 4 theme (featured in this vid by Domaje) is better than the season 1 theme (by The Blind Boys of Alabama) i just don't get it.
