@Zanator1 yes, thats completely true, but remember that the Empires fall was only because of Napoleons silly descition of marching on Moscow. The fall was not because of any financial or resource reasons, it was only because of the invasion of Russia. :)
@Zanator1 They were all Monarchies yes, but Napoleons Empire has been recognized as the greatest Empire in Europe since the fall of Rome. It has to do with the export/import capacity, economy, order and construction and strength.
@Strategos300 I dont think so... The Holy Roman Empire, the Rusian Empire, the Habsburgic Empire, The Ottoman Empire were all stronger and better... Why? They lasted longer and were stronger...
@Zanator1 During the Revolution the French started a republic. After years this republic or "directorate" didn't work. They only argued between themselves and caused war and disorder. Napoleons coup and finally his self-crowning of Emperor put an end to the anarchy and created peace and stability. Don't call it unsuccsesfull, hey, he created the greatest empire since the Roman (in Europe).
@Strategos300 So the idiots replaced monarchy with monarchy, a stable sistem with a disaster that ended up in humiliating defeat... Briliant... And seriously! Enemy of the people??? Soviet Russia much?
@Zanator1 at that time Monarchy was the only thing that could have worked for France. The Brits also began calling him antichrist for propaganda. What a world eh?
@Zanator1 exactly. People like to talk about the revolution as something good. I only see death, anarchy, pain and suffer. Napoleon was the one who finally restored order to France after thousands of deaths and disorder. But Napoleon still gets no honor. People like to talk about Napoleon as one of the most cruel men in history. This series is partly made to spread the fact about the true Boney,
No, they didnt guillotine hundreads of royalists, they guillotined thousadnds of people who didnt show euphoria and self-sacrificing suppor to a rebellion that wasnt even their own... Preety monarchyst and despotic revolution they had there...
