Firstly, by saying government do you "thing". There "thing" is to govern. I don't agree with everything to government does at all. There are many things wrong with it.

And by dealt with. I mean people who are racist need to be educated properly so there attitudes can be changed.
I don't think its freedom of speech, I think its verbal abuse and breech of the peace. If the people on this tram being abused went to the police, they would have the right to arrest her with the video evidence. I just wish there was no racism and people were thought of equally. I don't think I have the ability to change it.
I would love to hear your input, and try to keep it mature.

  • There is larger issue involved here. When a person's personal opinions are expressed, no matter how vile or despicable (and as long as is it does not incite to violence) they come under the heading of "freedom of speech". Maybe the law is different in Britain regarding this issue. However, in the US there is supposed to be a guaranteed right to speak one's mind under the First Amendment of our Constitution. Protecting everyone's freedom of speech, including those we do not agree with.

  • Yeah! The British government should establish a "London racist trial" of sorts. Round up anyone who's even slightly suspected of holding a single racist thought in their head, tie them up in a burlap bag and toss 'em into the English Channel. If they're racist, they'll float, if they weren't, they'll sink... and then you'll know. If they float then fish 'em out and hang 'em from the gallows at the Tower of London.

  • @falcondriver100 "Chaudhry" is a Bengali name by the way.

  • @falcondriver100 And you still haven't explained what all this has to do with the Emma West case.

  • @falcondriver100 You say "and YEAH he WAS white!"

Where do you get your information?

If you are talking about the incident in which a 96-year old war veteran was assaulted on a Croydon tram the victim (the 96-year-old gentleman) was Mr. Shah Chaudhry, an Indian veteran of the 4th Infantry Division (the Red Eagle Division), a renowned and very gallant formation of the British Indian Army. 4th Indian Division fought in North Africa against Rommel and Von Arnim, then in the Italian campaign.

  • @VillageHampden Oh SO SORRY Mr genius. He was 96 and YEAH he WAS white! As for the rest of your snotty ass comment, KISS MY ASS! I'm not losing anymore time on a fool like you who just argues due to boredom.

  • @falcondriver100 Perhaps you would now like to explain what you think this has to do with the Emma West case?

  • @falcondriver100 You didn't give ANY information that would have made it clear which incident you were talking about - what little detail you DID give was WRONG.

You wrote "punched a 97year old white man in the face" - that would have been very helpful information except that the victim (1) WASN'T 97 and (2) WASN'T WHITE.

But, on reflection, perhaps it WAS stupid of me to assume that your description of the victim would be factually accurate, given your obvious racial prejudice.

  • @VillageHampden Pretty stupid of you to ASSUME what case I was talking about. No, the incident happend in BRITAN on a TRAM by a SOLID BLACK piece of shit and the video is here on youtube for all to watch "96 year old pensioner........". Figures this case would get worldwide attention and you've never even heard about this case eh? Don't think there's a war on whitey or anything do you?

Keep covering, defending & making excuses for the thugs. One day you'll figure it out.

  • @falcondriver100 Are you referring to the Chicago case? That seems to have been on a train (not a tram). I realise that's only a detail, but your mistake suggests you have a pretty damned unsure grip on the facts of the case. A more important point is that the assailant was NOT EVEN BLACK - he's very obviously "mixed-race" (and in England wouldn't be described as "black").

As far as I know there's no evidence that the Chicago incident was racially-motivated.

    Thus that case is irrelevant.
