Production
Filming took place in New York, Toronto, Parkwood Estate in Oshawa, Nova Scotia and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario . As of the weekend of June 22, 2008, Swank was in the town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia for filming taking place at the town's well-known Acadia University.
Writing
Ronald Bass wrote the script using several books on Earhart as sources including Mary S. Lovell's acclaimed biography The Sound of the Wings; Elgin Long's Amelia Earhart: The Mystery Solved.[2] and Susan Butler's novel, East to the Dawn.
