@MrSonny119 I'm sorry you feel that way. I love vintage Christmas specials!

This really brought back memories. I've never seen this before but I'm in the orchestra (it was Nelson Riddle's orchestra). I remember the day we did this at ABC in Hollywood. Richard C. is a really great guy and very smart. I actually saw him just a few years ago at a dinner I was invited to with someone who was related to him. He remembered every detail of this TV special including the date, time, program, etc. He has a photographic memory. Like I said, very smart guy.

This is my favorite Christmas CD - played it today! I miss Karen.

It must have been a sad Christmas the 1st Christmas without Karen. Especially since this was her favorite holiday. I can't imagine being happy one year and being sad the next. But lucky for me, I know of their music and include them in my Christmas tradition every year, it's just not Christmas without the Carpenters, once I hear the Carpenters holiday music I know the holidays can start.

They don't make Christmas shows like this anymore, hell, they don't make christmas shows anymore, period. Thanks to the liberals...

Karen is as pretty as any model here. She was a natural acting also.
