@neogardener no. vegetable plants such as peppers, tomatoes, peas, green beans have what are called perfect flowers, the flowers contain male and female parts, therefor the self-pollenate. other vegetables such as zucchini,have 2 different types of flowers, male and female, male flowers are usually the first to bloom and are long and skinny, while the female flowers grow the squash behind them, to pollenate, personally I cut out the center of the male flower and drop it into the female flower.

hello there, can we also pollinate strawberries at home the same way you have pollinated the peppers and tomatos, just by shaking them?
