neal morse and nick d'virgilio - the doorway

acoustic version. i taped this video when i was lucky enough to catch them while vacationing in germany in june (or july? i forget sorry) of 2000. it was the shamrock pub in nuerenberg.

Nick is technically a better singer, but Neal is the better composer. Classic SB was a force to be reckoned with, with both of them in the band. Even still I still follow both in their separate careers.

@kingcrimson234 - well what I meant was that Nick has more vocal training and greater chops, and his voice has a wider range. Neal is a decent singer and all, better than many. It's just in terms of comparison, Nick is better.  Neal, meanwhile, is the best composer to walk the Earth since Paul McCartney.

Two Incredibly talented multi instrumentalists and outstanding lead vocalists! SB with Nick singing is as good but just different. Any project Neal is involved in will be naturally great. Both so gifted!

I would die to see this. These dudes provided for a revival of the prog rock scene, and for that I am truly grateful. Fuck the rest of modern rock, prog rock is the only true art form.
