Armagh Minors 3-11 Down Minors 5-4

Armagh defeated Down 3-11 to 5-4 in a remarkable Ulster Minor Football clash at the Athletic Grounds.

Down looked certain winners as two Shay McCartan goals and a Caolan Mooney goal helped them into a 3-1 to 0-2 lead.

McCartan then completed his hat-trick and a further Shay McArdle goal extended Down's lead to 5-1 to 0-6.

But a Paul Og Grant goal gave Armagh hope and Michael McKenna's goal and Paul McGeown's late penalty completed the most astonishing of comebacks.
