  • @betterdrummerjoe maybe she wanted to play it that way. and for concerts during the day you are limited to time.

  • The roll section in the beginning is waaayyyy too harsh. It says mp for a reason.

    Also take it slower. Quarter=92 is what is written, and I trust Mark Ford. I don't know if it was just nerves, but you played this at Quarter =100-106/107.

    Also there are some spots where you are rushing to the rhythm, and you really just need to relax. Also, this piece would sound better with either a softer mallet, or lighter velocities.

  • Umm...good job. Quite a bit of trouble with the accuracy. Perhaps if you take the tempo down a few clicks, a lot of those passages would be easier to hit. Nice job on the crossover in the beginning, though!
