  • Oh man. Flipping the cylinder shut on a revolver just sets my teeth to grinding when I see some limp rod doing it at the range to impress people. I think there should be a law that the witness gets to rescue the abused revolver from the twit mistreating it.

  • @14goldmedals thats how i was raised also but if you made a video response stating what your saying many more "newbies" will hear and understand instead of a comment

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! im a gun noob and im looking to get a revolver when the money situation calms down a bit. the other day i got to hold one for the first time and lukily i didint do any of this and now im glade i know these things BEFORE i did them.

  • @BigAgitator What I mean is he spun the cylinder and then started to close it while spinning.

  • I hate it when people let the cylinder slam open also. I mention that in one of my videos.

I was showing my revolver to my cousin and he started to spin the cylinder. He will never handle my revolver again.

  • The savior of all noobs

  • that .500 looks like a cartoon gun next to the others

  • Good info about not "cowboying" the cylinder, I didn't know that. But I know guns aren't toys so I wouldn't be doing that anyways, but still it's good info...

  • Great video and thank you. So if I spin the cylinder or lets say a M&P 340, but gently index it, will it damage the pin?

  • @kconverse53484 or broke their .500 magnum revolvers acting like a cowboy
