THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! im a gun noob and im looking to get a revolver when the money situation calms down a bit. the other day i got to hold one for the first time and lukily i didint do any of this and now im glade i know these things BEFORE i did them.

I hate it when people let the cylinder slam open also. I mention that in one of my videos.
I was showing my revolver to my cousin and he started to spin the cylinder. He will never handle my revolver again.

Good info about not "cowboying" the cylinder, I didn't know that. But I know guns aren't toys so I wouldn't be doing that anyways, but still it's good info...

Oh man. Flipping the cylinder shut on a revolver just sets my teeth to grinding when I see some limp rod doing it at the range to impress people. I think there should be a law that the witness gets to rescue the abused revolver from the twit mistreating it.
