  • It's strange to see a video about pitta 'mpigliata in which people talk in english, but I am very happy that you follow this wonderful and ancient recipe. Have a nice Christmas :)

  • Where can i purchase this?

My noni, who passed away over 15 years ago, made this and gave to all of her 9 children every Christmas.

I have not had it in years and miss it and my noni very much.

  • La PITTA IMPIGLIATA

  • Well this is an easier way to do it but my Mom still makes it the original way, you know the rolling both sides to the middle and then joining the two ends! Very Yummy either way. Good for you to pass along our wonderful sangiovanese traditions!
