Slightly patronising, faintly pastoral PIF from the very early eighties telling the littlest tiniest childrens not to "forget to be sensible" by miscuing their backpass to the Ford Anglia.

"Albophobicads" and his acorn-pricked bretheren will hate this, because the sensible kid is the black one.

A very minor PIF, possibly regional, coming out alongside the Green Cross Code Man in his imperial phase, but not featuring him. Almost unthinkable in these campaign-focused days; a reminder of how different PIFs used to be. Even the adverts were more regimented in those days.

My friend Ru's kids in Bangkok play right along the very edge of Soi 4 and although they're so small they never run in the traffic, ever. I saw one throw his paper plane right into the road, he never even made a step towards it, just called for Papa and Ru got it.

Maybe that's the answer. These kids get a lot more attention than Western ones. Sometimes too much.
