Geez! You and I share the same bad luck! As Voth24 has told me, Rainbow Road is the worst place for a hacker to wreak havoc, so it could've been worse. The reason why a blue shell hit you in fourth place is because you were the highest running player who hadn't crossed the finish line yet. I remember a race at Luigi Circuit when a blue shell zoomed by me while I was in second place. Since the leader had just crossed the finish line, the blue shell circled around and hit me instead.
