headset review-Bose, and other headphones. Bose doesn't live up to the hype of GREAT headphones. They are comfortable, but not FULL noise cancelling. You can still hear other unwanted noise loud and clear. Ear muffs that people use for gun ranges work best for noise cancelling, but they aren't for listening to audio, they are just to protect the ears.

you bose over ear headphones are NOT designed to cancel out the noise... they simply reduce it.

For some great inexpensive on ear headphones check out...
Grado SR60 and SR80, Koss PortaPro, and Sennheiser PX100
For over the ear quality the Shure SRH440 and Denon D2000 offer a superb performance.
Check out my clip, some headphones I have. The best value IMO is the Grado SR60(open back) and Shure SRH440(sealed).
And...Lady you are gorgeous

you can still hear stuff with the bose's on because you didnt buy the noise canceling headphones. you bought the regular headphones. the noise canceling headphones are more expensive than 150 and has an LED light on the cup to tell you its on.
