@BernardBabin My grandparents said the train was stopping in Matapedia and the passengers were being bused to Gaspe. I guess not.

@tjmfishing This is right ! Your grandparents are right. The VIA train is being stopped since december 22, 2011 to Matapédia. No passengers trains has been running on the Gaspé coast since that time.
