You should read it, it continues far further than the anime with a slightly different storyline (Raki does not meet Clair in the North, instead being kind of adopted by Issley after Priscilla shows such an interest in him, Claire and 6 other Claymores survive the *massacre of Pieta*, and end up hiding in the North for 7 years, before the story continues into the second half)

Priscilla and Teresa were victims of the same plot the Organization had. Teresa was unstopable, Priscilla was a ticking time bomb ready to pass her Yoki limit and cause all hell on earth. They sent Priscilla to a fight that would overwhelm her and cause her to awaken. She tried to overcome the orgasm, but Teresa didn't kill her soon enough. The Organization was always the one to hate. The rules suck anyway. Yes i said it btw. Awakening is like an orgazm to Claymore, the best and longest ever.
