@spunkgirl123 The love of johnny johnson;He really existed in the books of laura but he was a farmer,a boy who kept cows in the second book,little house on the prairie but was never in love with mary ,and laura never got interested in him but it is for the series,fun series!laura or melissa was funny and mary so lovely,so lovely blue eyes.

I don't know if there was ever better casting in a role than Melissa Gilbert as Laura Ingalls. Especially the younger years.
