Single Vehicle Accident check out skid marks

2 Codiac RCMP members were on scene of this single vehicle accident around 1 AM The vehicle was coming off Wheeler Blvd onto the West Main Traffic Circle. Long skid marks on the pavement , car hit curb then ran into the train bridge where it came to a stop uner the train bridge. 1 tow truck was needed, Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.

Is there less of an occurrence of DUI in Canada than in the states due to Canada's tougher legal stance? I know that if someone has a DUI in the states its very difficult for them to enter Canada.

@Colortiniz you can't go into the USA with a criminal record and if you are caught drinking and driving in Canada its a criminal record . Less occurrence no way , I can go out any night of the week and see people caught for DUI and there are alot more out there that get away with it daily and it doesn't have to be night time around here can be first thing on a Monday morning someone gets nabbed , to much drinking and driving for sure!

@Newschaser Oh, its reciprocal. I didn't know that.. I thought in the US DUI (at least for the first time) was a misdemeanor while in Canada its a felony. DUI is so pointless and avoidable yet it happens all the time. So sad.

@notme600 the only way to give them random drug tests to have them pee in a cup and send them that to the hospital to be tested. i donno if you've been to the hospital lately, but its a long wait.

@Newschaser The roads are full of drunk drivers in the morning,especially on weekends.Most people will think that they are ok the next morning,when they are not.My pickup has an interlock installed for two more months,and I now know that you can still be over the limit at noon the next day.

No go USA if you have drug related stuff and No go Canada with DUI
