@fabiuh991 yea, if you dont break them in and push the full rated power to the sub when they are brand new you can easily damage the woofer. the spider and surround are verry stiff so the voice coil has to work way to hard to push the cone
So how long did you do the break in for? 4 hours. I just did broke in my Kappalite 3015LF for 4 hours yesterday, going from 20hz to 45hz @ 20.89volts yesterday.
