Karl, have you seen the following video? It shows that when the Obama "birth document" is placed in Adobe photoshop, 2 of the Bs in 2 places where Obama's name appears, match perfectly. I would think this is proof of deliberate manipulation of the document since it's impossible for the 2 type written Bs from 1961 to be a perfect match.

@Skywitness Unfortunately not, since the document has been "enhanced". You need a high-resolution scan (e.g. in TIF or PNG format) of the original alleged document, or a physical examination of the original.

@Robert697, Yes, Perkins Cole represented Obama in many lawsuits INCLUDING some demanding his long-form birth certificate. His campaign spent about $2.6 million in TOTAL fees to Perkins Cole, post-election. Not all of that, nor even a major portion, was about the birth certificate.

@MrInfounderground, I already did: the OFFICIAL State Government Website of Hawaii. What more do you want? I’m sorry, I’m nowhere near Hawaii and don’t have someone’s birth certificates from there handy, and even if I did, I can’t post images in YouTube TEXT Comments. You’re asking for inherently impossible “proof” and you know it.

@MrInfounderground, Wrong. The “short form” (CertifiCATION of Live Birth) DOES have the embossed Hawaii State seal. It is PRIMA FACIE (look that term up) for ALL legal purposes.

According to hawaii-dot-gov, a CertificaTION of Live Birth is NOT “almost as good as” a birth certificate. Nor even “just as good as.” It •IS• a birth certificate! The term “birth certificate” is to the Hawaii State Government an UMBRELLA term that covers •BOTH• CertifiCATIONS •AND• CertifiCATES of Live Birth!

@COMALiteJ If I was born in Hawaii and tried to use the "short form" to get my driver's license in North Carolina it would not be accepted because it does not have the state seal embossed. Mr. Skousen purports that they are mutually exclussive; therefore, if you want to put forth evidence of someone else from Hawaii possessing both types of birth certificates then that would certainly strengthen you position.

Also, touch-typists tended to “think ahead” of what they were typing. All it’d take would be, after the first line, the clerk gets distracted (phone call, etc.), and forgetting that s/he’d not yet typed in the gender, Month of Birth, etc. (that being on his/her mind before distraction). So, s/he proceeds to type up the rest, then after removing it from the typewriter, notices the omission, re-inserts the paper form, and types that line in. Of COURSE it doesn’t line up.

@kdenninger, On the matter of the alignment, I do believe that you are correct that the line beginning with “Male” through the month, but not day nor year, of the Date of Birth, was typed separately, but I doubt that it was malicious nor fraud.

You forget how typewriters worked back then. The old mechanical (or even electric) hammer-type had a carriage that moved, and much of the line that one was typing on was BLOCKED FROM VIEW except right around the spot where one was typing.

@kdenninger, okay, I think that’ll do for the layers and background stuff. Thanks for actually using “Optimize Scanned PDF,” though. May I suggest that, for a closer (but still not perfect) match, that you obtain some security patterned paper of your own, download the WHITE BACKGROUND, HI-RES copy from the Associated Press, and print THAT ONTO the patterned paper, then repeat your experiment? There’s still the fingerprints / dust / CCD sensor signal noise, etc., but this should be closer.
