Wow thats great!!! Take down a historic building that brought us wondeful events for a parking lot!!! Who needs hockey and concerts when we can have the Long Wharf Theatre!!! Destefano should get another 50 years in office!!!

I miss New Haven. I can't believe they got rid of the coliseum. Have a lot of memories of that place. Time goes by so fast.

I could never understand why people think this is cause for a celebration complete with cheering. What idiots! Hmmmm. No more NH Coliseum. No more hockey. No more concerts. No more circus. No more reason for people to go to New Haven!

they played alot more than concerts, they had nighthawks hockey, the beasts, knights, wrestling, rodeos.. Monster truck rallys and a whole buncha shit and it woulda cost less of your money to restore it and do somethign with it than it did to tare it down

arena rock is dead anyway a dinasour from the past, glad to see it gone, it was one fugly looking building anyhow. just hope they put something of worth in it's place
