  • jacksonville fla best time of my life, green cove springs, orange park lived there many years. my brother went to high school with little melody. BLACK CREEK, you know what i am talkin about> brick yard road street sigh stolen about once a month ---I MISS OLD FRIENDS THAT I ONCE HAD THERE- IV"E SEEN BETTER DAYS

  • Hughie's solo is pretty decent but I think Rickey's solo is weak to poor. And Ed King did play the solo on this song. Also, there is no existing live recording of Comin' Home with Ronnie. If it was ever played live it would have been back before Skynyrd's first lp, before Al Kooper "discovered" them. This is probably my favorite Skynyrd song. It's haunting and sad. Just an incredible song.

  • Gotta be one of my favorite Skynyrd songs ever. Could have sworn that was Ed King on this one, but not according the vid poster's "line-up" remarks, though. I can't still seem to find a live vid on Comin' Home with Ronnie and the original line-up, though :(

  • Did I see a vibrato bar on that tele?

  • 8 People are not coming home.

  • Can you SEE THE BALL PARK, CAMPGROUND, can you feel the gravel the way it feels on your feet on brickyard road, green cove springs,

thats mr RVZ lyrics and Mr Ed king Strat licks timeless,

COME BACK ED, MAKE IT RIGHT GARY DALE,

JUDY. make it right forgive each other

make it right....you can its not too late

TAKES YOU BACK HOME everytime you hear it,

  • Mr Ed King wrote the vast majority

of the awesome guitar licks in this song,Tom

dowd had him plug directly in the board

to do the overdubs, this is a musical masterpiece

thanks Gary, Ronnie and Allen and Ed, who gets sometimes overllooked

his guitar work is rock history.

  • @HELP41ME I do trust u. I would never bail. That would mean bailing on me too and I could never do that. I love u way too much!!!!!!!
