@camodudestrikesagain The more things that you learn to do with your hands the better the women will like you and besides it is a neat thing for you to know since your girlfriend is doing it...the two of you can hang out and knit together. @camodudestrikesagain Remember that knitting is sexy! Your guy friends and your girlfriend are already knitting. Pay no attention to the nay-sayers or those who may cast you in a different light because of it. It's a craft that many men do actually. Check out Brooklyn Tweed dot com. It's a well known knitting company started by a guy who knits. Your family and friends love you and those are the only opinions that should hold weight.

@RandomnessISJoy For this particular pattern, the crown was done in purl stitches and the gull lace is only for the body of the beret.
