My only concern is that if I SubQ my cat on the shoulder area -- what's going to happen to her Microchip? Will it be flooded? Dislodged???

My biggest problem is that I'm not consistently successful. Only twice have I succeeded on the first try. Several times it took about 4 tries with "Peaches" getting a little too wet because the needle was not inserted properly. Very frustrating!

I've been doing this successfully, but now the part of the tube that shows how fast or slow the fluid is dripping is all filled with fluid, so I can't see the dripping. What can I do about that?

Several times I have found that I am not penetrating the skin properly. Is it possible my cat is too soft? She is getting tired of the fluid getting her wet.

Thank you - great video! I always warm anesthetic before giving injections to my dental patients and now I will be warming the bag of fluids before administering to my cat - brilliant idea and he will be more comfortable!

"Moby" is much calmer than my "Peaches"

I have watched at least 6 videos tonight on giving subcutaneous fluids to a cat (after failing on my first try with my cat) and this one has been the most helpful so far!
