Feast (MOVIE REVIEW)

This over the top horror movie was released in 2005 and directed by John Gulager. It is also part of this show called project Greenlight.

Wow ! I can't remember I saw a movie with this much action and gore. Amazing !

The premise of the movie is simple. Some small local bar, in the middle of the desert, is suddenly under siege from a clan of pissed of monster type things. These huge, violent beasts are drawn to the bar after chasing a man responsible for running one of them over, accidentally. The rest of the movie is about the motley crew of patrons trying to cope with this crazy situation.

Lots of bloodshed, violence ensue.

This is not your typical, by the numbers horror movie. Many unexpected things happen. When the action starts to get going, it gets relentless. This movie was not afraid to put a ridiculous amount of violence in it.

The creature effects are well done. No noticeable CGI ! (WOW). Well written, acted, directed. It had a good mix of suspence, comedy, tons of action, gruesome gore. The whole shebang. Loved it !

This is probably one of the more over the top violent movies I have seen in some time. Lots and lots of fun. Really well done monster effects. Fucking crazy.

Oh yeah ? I heard they weren't as good, but I really want to see for myself. It's from the same director, so they can't be too bad. I'm excited to watch them.

the first F.E.A.S.T is great, the second is ok and the 3rd is great. theres some awesome kills in the 3 films

It depends what they mean with good. As a movie, then it´s not. For the fun and slapstick and gore absolutely. The humor might not suit everyone though. It´s those kind of movies you either love or hate.
