Agree. Reno is the worst place I've ever lived in. There's absolutely nothing to do here and the "city" itself is ugly and dirty.

I lived in Reno most of my life and obviously you didnt get out much because there is plenty to do there. of course you have a chance of getting mugged anywhere you go. it is a big CITY. go to Las Vegas and you have a chance of getting your stuff stolen there too or Carson City you can go to a small city and still have you stuff stolen if you dumb enough to leave you stuff out then it should ge stolen. now and days they have these things called phones and you can look fun stuff to do try that.

i lived in reno nv from 1999 to 2001 and loved it there idk what u 2 r talking about its a great lil city if you can't find something to do there then you're bored with life itself

hopefully reno isnt as bad as you say, i'm going there on my honey moon. i'm not expecting a lot we just dont have the money to go to a really nice place but hopefully its better then nothing

I am shocked. Where the heck were you both IN Reno? There's at least 20 nightclubs in the city and majority of those are outside of the casinos and independently run. People walk the streets at night without the fear of getting mugged. The University is very close to the downtown area so there's a huge dance club scene not far from the casinos. If you travel outside of downtown then you hit the established suburbs that are as nice as parts of San Francisco and Seattle. Where the hell were you?

I lived in Reno in 94-97 and loved it. It is full of beauty; Truckee River, Lake Tahoe, all the casinos...I do agree that you have to watch out, because in Reno, there's always a scam going on downtown. If you are too retarded to catch on, then you deserve to be taken. Sorry :)
