Yet another drop in - a white muscovy duck

This not so little duck was outside our neighbour's house when we came home this afternoon. It was tame and was wondering about and had what looked like a bit of head trauma. Anyway, wifey was able to pick it up and put in a cage until we could decide what to do with it. Later found it had escaped from someone's house up the road. When they came to pick it up, we found out it is a female and gets pecked on the head from its partner during the nooky season and that's what the marks on the head are from. Also found out it is a Muscoy duck. Owner was happy to be reunited with his baby - it is only a couple of months old.

Know absolutely nothing about these ducks but can say the neighbour came and claimed it a the time all ended well.

Aww. Cute muscovy! :D She looks to be a bit older than that, because the warts dont come out until 5 months old.
