In a recent TransLink survey, it was indicated that installing Turnstiles at stations is being considered. I wonder about the cost vs how much lost fare income, and whether this would make it feasible (since I expect the riders would carry the costs via increased fares, and taxpayers & Hydro customers via bill charges). I am also concerned about the style that would be chosen, since a style that would help prevent "jumpers" would also make access very difficult for those of us who use the system when shopping & travelling ... even the turnstiles at the Seabus make getting through quite difficult even though there is staff there who will let you through the doors.
