  • Thank you for the wonderful advice. It relly helped me undestand that twirling a lightsaber is just for, well, show of how good you are or because looks cool. I like wht you said about keeping your balance when you strike. Did you mean to follow through with a twirl or no?

  • @1jilar thanx for watching, I've made several more videos on uncovering reasons for twirling or when and how to twirl for actual combat, and there are many, but once you understand it, it is also relatively easy to tell when a person does not fully understand it. In combat it is desirable to be efficient as possible so everything you do must have a reason, a purpose behind it. no wasted movement.

  • Check out mine fans, it didnt make it due to wrong video codecs, but regardless, its still brilliant and we have expanded our story into a feature length version. We have Lightwhips!

  • @WanderingSpiritProd lightwhips! very cool, thank you for sharing!

  • But should we use The Force or choose The Dark Side?!

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives lol, as long as you take out the bad guys it doesn't matter :)

  • Twirling a double edged sword is a bad idea in any case, because you can easily cut yourself. With swords, cuts naturally move from a guard to another guard with no extra movement.

That being said, the european masters advocated constant movement and switching of guards rather like a boxer.
