A lot of tail rotor noise from the Sea King.

two 61's crashed in southern california in 1968 from some kind of metal fatigue. just months apart. They used to ferry guest's to and from disneyland. I have always known these aircraft to be exceptionally reliable. Were the 68 model's not good aircraft? Was the problem later found and rectified? I know disney later cancelled the helicopter service.

No, I am just a recreational helicopter pilot. This just happened right outside our cabin in Big Bear last year. Have much respect for the pilots flying these missions.
