@Tabbyinblack Celt, Zulu, Maya, Tibetan, "Sioux", ... Some are survivors, some are parasites. If you are Celt, make your own movie. Don't blaspheme the indigenous.

@Tabbyinblack Thanks, but you will have seen the film isn't another dnd film it's another film that happens to have ndn's in it.I had a Swiss woman complain that the film was just a "crime story' not and ndn movie and I though that was demeaning to why should a culture be relegated to not being a part of any kind of story in cinema?I shot the opening 9 mins in Scotland years ago and is almost identical. Lots of people in know in ndn country like that it's just a love story w/no drunks or wise men

I loved this movie for one main reason...the Indian Maiden does not die. Most of the time Native American women in film are portrayed as dependent on a white male hero and she dies as a result. She suffers at the hands of Manifest Destiny and American Expansionism. Rez Bomb releases the Celluloid Maiden from her white American misconceptions and gives the audience a new stronger more realistic character.

@megs97216 Thanks for the comment, really nice to hear. The story was developed purely as a story, not for a particular culture so when set in Lakota country it doesn't fall to any of the cinema stereotypes, it is just a movie and it is great to see that that resonates with people.

I like that it isn't showing any drunks, or the "Alcoholism is killing our tribe" theme. Nice, Something new for a change. I haven't seen it yet but I don't mind. Read your comments, it isn't easy making a film haha. By the looks of it.

@yaomang08 Thanks, yeah takes a long time to make a movie. Happy to make one that's just about people set on a Rez rather than one forced into a pigeon hole by being issues driven. It's available on DVD from amazon etc.

Why not make a film about the decedents of Celts and their way of life? lol It wouldn't bring you as much attention if you did. Ndns and their hardships roll the money in. See it angers me that you are making money off this. I'm done. I have no more words for you or this. You are another Keven Costner wanting to bank on the ndns.

@Tabbyinblack And the film has cost me a lot of money that I will never recoup as most films loose money and almost every film in ndn country lost money other than Dances, Smoke Signals, Dance Me Outside and other odd other one.If Hollywood could make money setting films there they would. My film would have made more money set elsewhere but then that wouldn't have brought investment into Pine Ridge (who made money from this film. I didn't) But I agree most ndn films are poor, exploitative. etc
