Another fun thing is /script SILVER_PER_GOLD=1 and you'll appear to be 100 times richer. Everything costs 100 times more aswell though, but use that script at a lan to trick people into thinking you're super rich! ;)

@Hemerawr @ukjamie96 To make it work post 4.0 (Cata), you need to go into the WTF folder (in your WoW folder) and open up config.wtf in notepad. Then add the line SET spellEffectLevel "100" (the number being what you want your effects level at). Once that's in the config.wtf file you can use the console command to alter it in game.
