The only known video and audio of Chicago's Shock Theatre, courtesy of Terry Tiz. Film footage taken on the Shock Theatre set at WBKB/ABC channel 7 studios by Terry Tiz. Selected audio recordings also courtesy of Terry Tiz. Film footage includes The Deadbeats rehearsals. Chicago Shock Theatre cast: Marvin (Terry Bennett), Dear (Joy Bennett), Shorty (Bruce Newton), Orville (Ronny Born) and The Deadbeats: Pat Ferreri, Sam Porfirio, Russ Crandall, Lenny Druss, Harold Siegel, Clay Campbell. A very special thanks to Terry Tiz for providing this one of a kind material and allowing us to share it.
There was a Shock Theater that was aired on WKEF in Dayton, Ohio from 1972 - 1985... While it was a bit different, the genre was the same. It was also hosted by 'Dr. Creep' (Barry Hobart) there are clips on YouTube of this as well.

Thanks for the memories. I watched Shock Theater every Saturday night in the 50s. But I know there are other tapes in existence because I saw them. I did an Internet Search a couple years ago and found other clips.

When I was a kid, this show scared the crap out of me. Too bad there isn't anything like this today.
