Tatiana Hargreaves "LIVE" at the 2010 Weiser Idaho Oldtime Grand National Fiddler's Contest.

This is Tatiana's first round entry. The tunes are: mad as a hornet, reedemed waltz, and the acorn stomp. The accompanists are Gary Lee Moore, Matt Hartz, and Anthony Mature....nice playin' boyz. I never miss an opportunity to see Tatiana play....she is teriffic!! At 14 years of age, playing both fiddle and banjo, Tatiana has already steeped herself in the archives of Appalachian music and song, and has appeared on stage with folk and bluegrass musicians including Bruce Molsky, Darol Anger, Mark O'Connor, Uncle Earl, Sara Watkins, Sean Watkins, Brittany Haas, Tristan Clarridge, Tashina Clarridge, Crooked Still, Luke Bulla, Laurie Lewis & Tom Rozum. In 2008, Tatiana became the youngest ever to win the Championship Division of the Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers Contest. In 2009, Tatiana also received an American String Teachers' Association Alternative Styles Award. She can also be seen on the Violin Shop Fiddle Masters Concert Series DVD Volume III.

What's with so many girls taking up the old time and western swing fiddle? I think it's great. They're giving the guys a run for their money. Keep at it ladies.
