  • Dean, in unseren Herzen lebst Du weiter.

  • Dean Reed was by far the lamest of all excuses for a pop star. Not a great singer or songwriter by the standards of American audiences, he sought stardom by pimping himself out to countries where their expectations weren't quite as high. He then willingly whored himself out to the control of the Communists as a propaganda tool against the West in return for a "stardom" that was artificially maintained. The West certainly didn't lose anything precious when he became a traitor to his country.

MrTamerlan1980

  • dean was great man and the thing is not in communizm..i hate communists but he was a person.

  • "He had political views that he lived"??

He was treated like royalty in the Soviet block.

  • So great to see Dean Reed with one of the Everlys -- Dean was obviously having a great time.

Anyone have access to the full "60 Minutes" interview with the despicable pro-Vietnam war crimes Mike Wallace?

  • Karl Marx Stadt in 1984 like Dean Reed would be gone a few years later.

  • Funny he's called the Red Elvis. The real Elvis disrupted his career when he was at the top to join the US Army and defend German freedom from the Stasi and KGB.
