This video was taken on June 19, 2011 driving Eastbound from the Blair, Nebraska bridge to the newly-constructed levee around DeSoto Bend National Wildlife Refuge. Since I was driving I just held the camera up and let it do it's job. Toward the end you'll notice the new levee and how close the water is to the highway. I'd guess the water to be about 2 feet below the road surface at this time.

This video was taken after rumors of a levee breach at DeSoto Bend circulated. There is a lot of the levee that is not viewable from the highway, so this cannot either confirm or deny a levee breach. It just shows that if there is a breach it is not in the section by Highway 30.

*Note - I started filming just after I crossed the Missouri River channel, so all of the area shown in the video should normally NOT have any water on it. This is all flood water.
