Notice no water bottles were thrown by the TV media described "angry'' Tea Partiers. In contrast the poor illegals in Arizona who just want "a better life for their families" proceeded to pelt police with a barrage of bottles. It's too obvious when the police are trained by the Dept. of Homeland Security to accommodate the illegals and to intimidate and incarcerate legal U.S. Citizens for peaceful speech and assembly, we have a corrupt government.

Also, just as you say you do not consider yourself a liberal, you should not assume that everyone who is alarmed at the rapidly increasing pace at which our freedoms are eroding, is an "old conservative." Nor is there anything wrong with being an "old conservative."

Whatever happened to freedom of speech, the right to assembly, and also the idea that protest IS patriotic? In fact there is little that is more patriotic.

Not only very embarrassing to Quincy, but to the police officers as well.

Most likely, the officers would have liked to join the protesters that day.

Riot police are not called in by the Governor. That would be the National Guard.

They are called in by the municipality.
