Believe it or not the old W8 models (the Red and Yellow ones) were faster than the new silver one in the video, the old model was pure American with a twin turbo 383 Chevy motor producing 635hp, the transmission was also from Chevy, a three speed automatic, while the new W8 model had a 5.7l engine producing 492hp from a Lamborghini Diablo. I know this because when the very first W8s came out I was in high school and a big fan of those supercars

These cars were loved and admired in the late 80's and early 90's so the haters on youtube mean nothing. The ones that tend to hate are mostly kids or people who know little about the car. Even the legendary Countach is hated by many. But any Vector driving down the road would turn almost any head. Its a very unique and gaudy design that fit well in its time for what it was.
