@henrah1981 well some don't distinguish & others say there can be autobiographical & non fiction novels...
I guess Hitches stand up jokes are the closes we'll get to fiction

@LobsterPotsticker I hate to be overly pedantic about this... but yes, novel = fiction ... Look in a dictionary.
I've read most of his books.. none of them are novels.
-
@henrah1981 go to amazon and type in his name..
he wrote a bunch of novels, and even an autobiography. novel does not = fiction.
-
@LobsterPotsticker Sadly not.. he wrote a lot of non-fiction but he never wrote a novel.
-

@oxygenownz Me too. He's the most charismatic, interesting and intelligent man in the media today!

@Elulz The reason for so many dislikes for Hitchens (And Dennett, Harris, Dawkins) and many other free thinkers out there, is because Religious groups actually get together and compile lists and urls of their videos, and have their congregations vote in the negative. This is absolute fact as I have seen it with my own eyes. I have attended mass on some occasions to listen to the sermons preached, and was astounded to hear priests say "We should protect ourselves from this scourge of athiesm"

Write a novel before you die, please.

@smileychirk Amen.
Haha, Any journalist not intimidated by Hitchens hasn't seen him get worked up. I've seen interviews where the journalist got off one questions and then sat overwhelmed, hardly even getting a word out, for 10 solid minutes as Hitchens grabbed the segment by the hair and rode it like a virgin in the house of deSade.
